NMobile: Speed Traps App Reviews

CRAP!!!

I downloaded it to my iphone and its so slow! I passed by a couple speed traps and it didnt even show up on this app. Not worth it at all.

Top notch and highly recommended

This is probably the best piece of software Ive used in the navigation section of the App Store. Not only does it do what is promised, it does it without annoying ads, beeps, or buzzes. I would highly recommend this application to anyone who is looking for a great app that allows them to find speed traps and other useful info. I have used other navigation software similar, I believe it was called Trapster. Trapster looked and felt like crap, but this application just feels like a one-of-a-kind program that just works. Plain and simple.

Yikes

App is pretty bad. And looking at Microsoft maps just hurts the eyes. There so bad. Deleted just as fast as it was downloaded.

HELL YEAH OT REPRESENT. OHIO STATE, SON

Great app

I found many new speed traps i didnt know about. This app has great interface and is very easy to use and understand. No "how do I do...?" at all. Recommended to all my friends who have iphones and care about getting a ticket

Money saver

Great app! Saved me twice already

Speedtraps for home?

Brilliant idea executed perfectly.

Great app!

Love this app. Download it and contribute to the program!

good, not great

I just finished a 250 mile trip from Philadelphia to Western, Massachusetts using this app almost the entire trip. My impressions: 1. First of all, a great idea for an app. Was just thinking that I needed something like this when I discovered it, and it was free. 2. Map rendering is far slower than the iPhones Maps app. Generally, I prefer to stay as far away from anything Microsoft as possible, but a maps a map, right? Well, almost. Just a personal preference, but I noticed that maps for this app do not include all rail lines. Just like to know where they are. Also, too many times, the map rendering would just freeze. On a 5 hour trip, I restarted the application no fewer than 4 times just to update my location. I had no problem with location accuracy, however. 3. I would really like to see traffic conditions added to this app. I had to switch from one app to another just to check on traffic. 4. The sleep lock sometimes worked. Sometimes didnt. 5. The app did not save me once on the trip. I did pass three active traps that were not located by the app. I had some trouble entering them in the app each time. First time, it just wouldnt work. Second time, it froze the app. Third time, it seemed to work okay. Program was very jerky and often unresponsive to gestures. 6. Love the alerts. Nicely done, but do I really need to hear about a speed trap on a secondary road when Im on the interstate?

Mostly as advertised

Almost all of it works, double tap to enlarge and two finger tap to decrease do not work as in iPhone maps app, but pinching and pulling does. You can NOT sign in, create account, or post new trap from an iPhone, as the software hangs badly after typing your password. When browsing traps it would be nice if you could tap on the provided list to go to the trap you tapped, but all it gives you is the road it is on.

Ya gotta be kidding

Only reason it got two stars is because Im in a good mood, otherwise this is worthless.

An ok app

It works but just one problem, Police detected a signal out of this app, and follow me to my work,,,, no ticket, but had to turn it off ever since then....?

Anyone There?

I downloaded this App and Trapster on the same day. When I first signed on to Trapster, I saw a lot of listed speed traps. Most of which are accurate as I know my area! When I signed in to this program, and browsed through the majority of Los Angeles area, I did not see any listings at all!! Am I not using this correctly? Or is no one using this App and reporting anything?? So far this is useless! I recommend using Trapster.

Worth Checking Out

NMobile is a fairly good app. It does what it needs to do and gets out of the way for everything else.

Accurate information on red light camera

Checked for red light cameras in my area and found a few I never noticed before. Shows multiple speed traps around my residence and have in fact noticed cops sitting in those spots. Great app that has probably saved me from getting a ticket or two in unfamiliar areas.

Something you dont think about

Camera location is cool, but the speed traps should not be up loaded, what if your kid was taken and the police are set up looking for a vehicle & or individuals and when you upload their location you could be telling the kidnapper where not to go. Same goes for flashing your lights at cars approching a police officer on the side of the road. Please think about it.

Hello!

Now the close up doesnt work  when you dub tap the screen NADA! Wats up wit that.

confusing

how do i use this app??

Awsome!

They did a really nice job on this app!

Not good

Its a nice idea for an app, but this isnt any good. The llocation is always off by a mile or so, and it didnt even pick up a major highway on which i was driving.
